Dr. Kirk was raised in Northern Virginia and has practiced here since her graduation from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008—go Hokies! Dr. Kirk enjoys preventative care visits as well as more complex internal medicine cases. She has a special fondness for senior pets, and nothing makes her smile more than a gray-salted muzzle. She is Fear Free® certified and advocates for every patient through gentle, low stress, handling, and a focus on pain management.

Dr. Kirk’s support system includes her husband, Ken, and their two rescue hounds, Rocky and Maggie. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dogs, swimming, singing with her community choir, hiking, and learning to play guitar.
